On January 14th 2011, a car struck a motorcycle in Fort Myers and sped away. Police are still trying to identify and find the driver.
The accident, which occurred at Winkler Avenue and Challenger Boulevard, resulted in non life-threatening injuries to the rider of the motorcycle.
The car, which sped away after hitting the motorcycle, was later found near the entrance of Pottorf Elemntary. Police are using K9 teams to search for the driver.
Police are still unsure why the driver ran in the first place. Anyone with information about the crash, or the identity of the hit-and-run driver who caused the Florida motorcycle accident, is urged to contact police.
