CBS Channel 12 News reports that an eight-vehicle accident in Port St. Lucie on Saturday, November 7 shut down parts of a major local thoroughfare last week while crews worked to clean up and investigate the massive pileup.
Port St. Lucie police reported that one person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries not believed to be life-threatening. The accident shut down the westbound lanes of Port St. Lucie Boulevard near SW Del Rio Boulevard. Eastbound lanes were reportedly not affected by the accident.
ABC WEAR Channel 3 News reported recently that Florida Highway Patrol troopers responded to a fatal accident in Pensacola on Saufley Field Road that same weekend.
