Five people were injured in a multi-car crash in Orlando this week, and four people were trapped inside their vehicle. The accident occurred Tuesday morning at North Orange Blossom Trail and Rosamond Drive.
An impatient driver in a blue sedan going around another car that was waiting to make a left turn caused the accident. The impatient driver was T-boned in the intersection by a red SUV, which overturned upon impact.
The people in the blue sedan, which included children, were stuck inside the vehicle. Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to free them, but were not able to reach them immediately.
Five people in all were injured in the crash. One of the children involved was taken to Arnold Palmer Hospital, while three others went to the Orlando Regional Medical Center, and another to Florida Hospital.
Our thoughts are with all of those affected by this accident. We urge everyone to be cautious while turning in intersections.
