WPTV NBC Channel 5 West Palm Beach News reported recently that a major accident took place on Monday, April 19, 2021 that shut down multiple southbound lanes of Interstate 95.
According to a press release issued by officials with the Florida Highway Patrol and representatives from the Florida Department of Transportation, the incident took place on Monday, April 19, 2021 between 6:15 p.m. and 6:20 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) near Exit 79B and PGA Boulevard along Interstate 95 in West Palm Beach. Three lanes were closed, causing severe congestion throughout the area.
