WTSP CBS Channel 10 News Tampa Bay reported recently that a woman was killed while crossing U.S. Federal Highway 301 in Pasco County in an incident early in the morning on Monday, April 26, 2021.
According to a press release issued by officials with the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident occurred between 12:20 a.m. and 12:25 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Monday, April 26, 2021 along U.S. Federal Highway 301 in Pasco County. A Dade City woman, 35 years of age, was crossing U.S. 301 when she was struck by a truck traveling northbound along the highway. Troopers stated she walked right into the path of the truck. She was declared dead at the scene of the accident.
