The Citrus County Chronicle reported recently that a Beverly Hills man was arrested following a high-speed police chase in Citrus County, FL on Saturday, February 20, 2021 that ended in a crash.

When he attempted to stop the suspect, the suspect sped away. The deputy noticed that he didn’t have a license plate.
The suspect ignored traffic lights and stop signs as he fled, and the deputy pursued until the suspect crashed into a large dirt mound adjacent to the roadway near the intersection of West Demsey Lane and South Canna Lily Avenue.
While the arresting deputy approached the vehicle, the suspect fled on foot into nearby woods. The deputy stayed with the two passengers of the car while a K9 unit responded and located the suspect. He was arrested and taken to Citrus County Jail.
