NorthEscambia.com reported that an Escambia County man was killed on the afternoon of Sunday, November 15 in a two-vehicle accident near the intersection of Highway 29 and Highway 97 in Molino.
According to officials of the Florida Highway Patrol, a Pensacola man 44 years of age “failed to maintain an awareness of stopped vehicle traffic directly in front of his vehicle” and drove his vehicle, a black Chevy Impala sedan, directly into a large commercial dumpster being hauled on the back of a truck.
The Impala’s driver was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, while the driver of the truck, a man 59 years of age, and his passenger, a man 76 years of age, were uninjured by the incident.
