1057 News reported recently that a traffic accident on Friday, November 27, south of Crestview claimed the lives of five individuals.
The incident took place on Friday, November 27 on FL State Road 85 south of Crestview when a sedan carrying five people, for unknown reasons still under investigation, veered off the roadway and through the center median, entering the northbound traffic lanes, where it collided head-on with another vehicle.
Four occupants died, including two from Crestview, 39 and 49 years of age, one from Defuniak Springs, 58 years of age, and a Crossville, TN person 32 years of age. An 8-year-old boy was the sole survivor.
The driver of the other vehicle, 19 years of age and from Crestview, also died. The Florida Highway Patrol has not released any other info on the individuals involved, and the accident remains under investigation.
