In late November, a Plantation motorcycle accident occurred early one Monday morning. According to authorities, the crash took place around 6:00 AM on North Nob Hill Road near Northwest Sixth Street.
Plantation police indicated that a motorcyclist ran a red light and collided with an oncoming car. The motorcyclist was heading northbound when he crashed into a southbound vehicle that was attempting to turn east.
Christopher Blair, of Davie, the driver of the motorcycle, was injured in the crash and transported to Broward General Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale. According to reports, he sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Plantation police investigated the accident and cited Blair for failing to obey a traffic light. They also cited him for driving while his license is suspended and riding a motorcycle without an endorsement on the license. Plantation Police Detective Robert Rettig indicated that Blair should have completed training to operate this bike, and he shouldn’t have been riding it at all due to a suspended license.
There were no updates about the female driver who was hit in this Florida crash.
A portion of North Nob Hill Road was closed during part of rush hour traffic that day.
Chalik & Chalik would like to extend our best wishes for a full and fast recovery for both parties injured in this wreck and remind Florida motorists to obey traffic lights in order to reduce crash injuries.
