A devastating accident along the I-95 corridor claimed the life of a young man early Sunday morning near Cypress Creek Road.
18-year-old Miguel Angel Tabora was traveling north on Interstate 95 when he lost control of his 2002 Honda Civic, causing him to crash into the concrete barrier. Tabora was ejected from his car as it was overturned.
Tabora was later pronounced dead at the scene when police arrived after the 3:00 a.m. collision, according to Sgt. Mark Wysocky of the Florida highway patrol.
Police are still working to investigate the cause of the accident. However, official reports note that Tabora was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. No other people were injured in the accident.
Our sympathies go out to all of those affected by this tragic accident.
