Police have identified a Fort Lauderdale woman who died in a single-vehicle accident last week in Florida. The accident happened around 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
Reneisha Millington, 19, of Fort Lauderdale, was riding in a pickup truck when driver Artovio Tucker II, 22, claimed he was cut off by a silver car and had to swerve off the road.
The car, which was traveling on North State Road 7, ran off the road and collided with a utility pole in the 2600 block of State Road 7. Tucker was treated at Broward General Medical Center for minor injuries while Millington was killed in the accident.
Police, who are running a continued investigation into the cause of this Florida accident, identified Millington as the victim of the crash a day later. Our sympathies go out to all of those affected by the wreck.
